Our Story
One minute I was single, working full time, riding motorcyles with my girlfriends and livin' life. The next minute I had met a local firefighter, had married him, and was now expecting our first child. This was an exciting new time for me and never imagined what would happen next.
As we were looking at our new house my water broke at 23 1/2 weeks. I then went on bedrest yet my daughter was born at 25 weeks and one day. While she was in the NICU at the hospital I took a sewing class to take my mind off things. I started making her clothes since she would be about 4.5-5.0 lbs when she came home.
I entered some bazzars with my creations and the Worlds Largest Bazzar at the Expo. I did well and met other mothers doing the same. As the months went by I thought it would be fun to have a store where we could all come together and network. After staying home with her for a year while creating for others, I was finally able to realize my dream.
This is how Styledbaby came to be.......
Now, in 2009 after another difficult pregnancy and a miscarriage in between we have a beautiful baby boy. My store has now gone online only so that I am able to be with my preemies but you'll still see us in the area as we'll be doing local events and keeping involved in the community. We still specialize in local mom made products so check back with us frequently as we're always seeking new things.
